FIPCO price bot (FIPCO-PriceBot)

Information for online-shop operators: how and why our server reads product pages.

• The bot identifies itself with the user-agent “FIPCO-PriceBot/1.0 (+https://fipco.ro/en/bot.html)”.
• It only reads product pages listed by a user of the “Filament stock” feature, at most once a day per page.
• It respects robots.txt: if you disallow access, the page is not read.
• It uses HTTPS only, waits a few seconds between two requests to the same site and reads the price from the page’s structured data (schema.org).
• It does not store or download images, text or other content; it keeps only the price and currency.
• To exclude your site add “User-agent: FIPCO-PriceBot” and “Disallow: /” to your robots.txt, or write to us from the Contact page.
